David Munoz, Managing Director, is a senior member of the Alternatives Portfolio Team within BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2009, Mr. Munoz was a Managing Director and head of Domestic Private Capital at R3 Capital Partners. He held the same position with the Global Principal Strategies team at Lehman Brothers from 2006 to 2008. He joined Lehman Brothers in 2004 as a senior banker in the investment banking division. Earlier, Mr. Munoz spent nearly a decade as a mergers and acquisitions specialist with Credit Suisse First Boston focused on highly structured transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.  Mr. Munoz earned an AB degree cum laude in Economics from Princeton University.
